The Restoration of my Renault Dauphine

Here are the odds and ends, over a period of a few months, as I get it on the road.

It needed a coolant overflow tank, so I found one and adapted it, making a small stainless mount.

Also needed the limiting straps for the axles, so I made those out of an old seat belt.

Three of the wheels were crooked, so I found a shop that had the hydraulic equipment to straighten them, then remounted the tires. I thought conical nuts would be a good addition, but the steel is so soft that it cracked and I had to weld it back. So back to the original nuts with spreaders.

Then I added two speakers under the dash to go with the two in the rear shelf, and added the "Renault" lettering I got on ebay and had chromed.

I finelly got a chance to drive it a little, so took some pictures. Still no license plates, but there is light at the end of the tunnel for those. It now has about 100 miles on it.
