Mixing Oils

The calculations for mixing any two viscosities of oil to obtain a specific viscosity.

Note: You should only mix oils of the same brand and formulation

In the first module

Fill in:

  • The viscosity of the first oil you want to mix
  • The viscosity of the second oil you want to mix
  • The percentage of the first oil you want to mix
  • The temperature of these two viscosities
Press “Calculate" to obtain the viscosity of this mixture at that given temperature and percentage.

In the second module

Fill in:

  • The viscosity of the first oil you want to mix
  • The viscosity of the second oil you want to mix
  • Your desired final viscosity
  • The temperatures of these viscosities
Press “Calculate" to obtain the percentage of each oil that should be mixed to get that result.
